A Beautiful Promise

It is no secret that I love rainbows. 

The beautiful scene when the Sun shines on droplets of moisture in the atmosphere. The vibrant red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet bowed across the sky.

On the night my grandparents were killed in a car accident, I dreamed of a double rainbow in the sky. I was told later that there really was one....I'm not sure because it was the winter and I typically don't see one then.

Rainbow are filled with promise. hope. expectations of things to come.

Seasons|A Time for Everything

Well, this officially marks the start of Seasons Photography | Nature Photography & Inspirational Design blog. Let's start with an introduction and a few pictures and then a small overview of what this blog will be.
I am a nature and landscape photographer from the Midwest. Most of my photography is from Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and from my extended travels around the country.
Seasons Photography started as a way to share my photography with family and friends but more recently has become an opportunity for me to sell greeting cards, posters and prints of God's beautiful creation that is all around me.
As you will see on my website, most of the photography is with a Nikon d5000. I also never leave home without my small Canon Powershot camera for the times where a memory is being made. Photo editing is performed with Adobe Photoshop 9.0.
Ecclesiastes chapter 3: To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:...He {God} has made every thing beautiful in his own time.

Going forward, this blog will be a venue to introduce new prints and items available via my website. It will also feature photography from travels and life in general.
